About me

Hello! My name is Adrien and I'm a junior back-end.

Passionate about technology since my younger age. I started learning how to code. Formally, I was a Java Developer, that what my studies thought me.
But my first job gave me an interest in Web development specifically Symfony.
As of now I'm trying to learn as much as possible about the front-end spectrum. That will allow me to understand my team better and to become in a near future a Full-stack developer.

2017 - 2019

Business Partner (student jobs) - Delhaize

During my computer science studies, I was working as a sale associate in a supermarket. Even if this job was not in my field. It helped me to manage stress and pressure.

2019 - 2020

Internship - Smals

For my last year of studies I choose to do my internship for Smals. It was a great opportunity, and I learned a lot. I was in charge of testing the different bundle of Elasticms (the custom cms used in that team). I've used PhpUnit and learn everything from scratch to achieve this task.

2020 - 2022

Back-End Developer - Smals

After my internship, Smals hired me as a Php/Symfony Back-end Developer.
I worked for a lot of clients and also implemented new features on the CMS used by Smals. I was working in a team composed of a Front-end developer, an Analyst and a Webmaster. We used the Agile methodology throughout the development lifecycle.
For the work done on the Smals CMS, Git/GitHub was used to follow the advancement of all the developers and maintain a good organisation of the work.
